Patan Durbar Square – Patan’s durbar square is an architectural centre point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathmandu or Bhaktapur.
Pashupatinath –This is the place where the holi sadhus pray & cremations on the Bagmati river are carried out.)
Day 2 : KATHMANDU

Swayambhunath – The golden spire of the 5th century, the stupa is adorned with a colorful fluttering of prayer flags, it crowns a hill overlooking the Kathmandu valley and offers a fantastic view over the city of Kathmandu. One of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal and the pointed eyes of Buddha watch all who ascend the worn stone steps.
Bouddhanath – The holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal. With its large stupa, this is the place where all devout Buddhists come for a pilgrimage.

Shopping time in Thamel.
Thamel is a commercial neighborhood in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Thamel has been the center of the tourist industry in Kathmandu for over four decades, starting from the hippie days when many artists came to Nepal and spent weeks in Thamel. It is a heaven for tourists visiting the city.

Day 3 : KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT

Drive to Nagarkot.
Nagarkot is situated 32 kms, 1.5 drive east of Kathmandu, at an altitude of 2,175 metres. The panoramic view of the major peaks including Mt. Everest can be seen from here. This place is also famous for viewing sunrise and sunset.

Day 4 : NAGARKOT – BHAKTAPUR – KATHMANDU

Departure to Kathmandu
On the way from Nagarkot at 17kms, stop for Bhaktapur. Perhaps the least changed of all cities in the Kathmandu valley, with a distinct medieval feel. Pottery and weaving are still the traditional industries here. Architectural wonders abound, including the Palace of Fifty-Five windows, Golden Gate and the magnificient five-storied pagoda style, Nyatapola Temple.
